Reinhard Lugalia, DDS, says he’s always had a passion for making an impact on people’s lives. “Giving a patient a smile and the confidence they have been longing for brings me gratification and purpose in life.” As a general dentist, Dr. Lugalia will see patients of all ages and will work to diagnose oral health issues to restore patients’ smiles.

Originally from Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Lugalia attended Friends University in Wichita, KS on a football scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. “My upbringing has taught me it’s always better to give than to receive,” says Dr. Lugalia. “Being in a position as a dentist brings many opportunities to have lifelong influence on individuals and on the community.”

When he’s not delivering exceptional care for his patients, Dr. Lugalia and his wife, Dr. Yona Rasynouvong – also a dentist at Tallgrass Dental, enjoy spending time with family, hiking, cooking and trying new places to eat. The couple currently reside in Salina and are excited to be a part of the Abilene community.
